    The Cape May County Park and Zoo is proud to announce a free summer concert series in the Park. Join us Wednesday, June 27, July 18 and August 15 at 6:30 pm for special evenings out, relaxing on the lawn in front of the Bandstand at the Park. The Cape Shore Jazz Orchestra will preform on June 27th and is a 17 Piece Big Band with two singers that perform the music of the big band error of the 40's to the modern present Jazz era. Our theme this year is “A TRIBUTE TO THE BANDS OF THE 40s & 50s”

  2. Junior Chefs II Cooking Camps Rutgers Cooperative Extension

    Reserve your child’s space by June 22, 2018. These hands-on programs will be presented by Marilou Rochford, MA, CFLE, Rutgers Cooperative Extension Family & Community Health Sciences Educator. The future chefs will learn many new skills plus how to prepare a variety of foods and snacks. These camps were first developed in 2013 to incorporate nutrition education with hands-on food preparation lessons to encourage a lifetime of healthy eating habits. At the end of the program, participants will be able to prepare simple and healthy foods for themselves and their family Junior Chefs II is for students who have graduated from the Chefs I camp or have previous cooking experience. In Chefs II students again cook to eat healthy, and build on their previous kitchen experiences. They will gain additional kitchen skills learning more complex techniques and recipes.
