 GRAVE DECORATION GUIDELINES



1.    FRESH CUT FLOWERS ONLY ARE PERMITTED ONGRAVES IN PROPER PERMANENT CONTAINER, FROM APRIL 1ST UNTILOCTOBER 31ST. PROPER CONTAINER MUST BE BRONZE COATED AND FLUSH WITH THE GROUNDPURCHASED BY THE NEXT OF KIN. ALL OTHERDECORATIONS OR PLANTS WILL BE REMOVED. PLANTING IS NOT PERMITTED ON GRAVESITES AT ANY TIME.

2.    FLOWERS WILL BE REMOVED ON THE 1STAND 15TH OF EVERY MONTH OR AS THEY BECOME UNSIGHTLY AND FADED.


3.    A BRONZE MARKER FOR THE NON VETERAN MUST BEPURCHASED BY THE NEXT OF KIN WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OFTIME.    


4.    FLAG HOLDERS (VETERANS ORGANIZATION/SERVICETYPE) ARE PERMITTED ON THE GRAVES NEXT TO THE MARKER AND PURCHASEDBY THE NEXT OF KIN.     


5.    THE VETERANS’ BUREAU WILL PLACE FLAGS ONEACH VETERANS’ GRAVE ON MEMORIAL DAY AND VETERAN’S DAY.

6.    STATUES, ETERNAL (VIGIL) LIGHTS, GLASSOBJECTS, BALLOONS, AND ITEMS CONSIDERED TO BE INCONSISTANT WITH THE DIGNITY OFTHE CEMETERY WILL BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY.      


7.    DURING THE EASTER OR PASSOVER HOLIDAY FRESHFLOWER ARRANGEMENTS ARE PERMITTED.


8.    ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS WILL BE ALLOWED ONGRAVES IN PROPER CONTAINERS FROM NOVEMBER 1ST UNTIL APRIL 1ST.


9.    DURING THE WINTER HOLIDAY SEASON A GRAVEBLANKET IS PERMITTED (December 1ST),  MUST BE MADE FROM FRESH GREENS ANDSTAKED TO THE GROUND WITH WIRE ANCHORS. BLANKETS WILL REMAIN ON GRAVESUNTIL APPROXIMATELY JANUARY 15TH.


10.  TREESARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE PLANTEDWITHOUT APPROVAL OF THE SUPERVISOR OF THE VETERANS’ CEMETERY. ALSO, TREESARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE DECORATED WITH LIGHTS, CHRISTMAS BALLS, STREAMERS,BOWS, ETC.


11.  NOTHING WILL BE SECURED TO GRAVESITE MARKERS.

        OTHER ITEMS AFTERTHEY HAVE BEEN PLACED ON THE GRAVESITES. FLOWERS AND ANY

        OTHER ITEMS AREPLACED AT YOUR OWN RISK. THEY WILL NOT BE REPLACED BY THE 

        CEMETERY IF THEY AREDAMAGED, LOST OR STOLEN.
